Kurt Elling Celebrates Weather Report Featuring The Yellowjackets

A celebration of one of jazz’s great supergroups by 2x GRAMMY winner, Kurt Elling. This evening will not only reimagine Weather Report’s iconic songs but will also feature new vocalese arrangements inspired by their constellation of musicians. The program will include compositions such as “Remark You Made,” “Three Views of a Secret,” and “Continuum.”

Throughout their storied 43-year history, the Yellowjackets have recorded 26 albums, received 18 Grammy® nominations and won 2, and performed countless sold-out tours, enjoying worldwide critical acclaim and commercial success. Formed in the late 1970s, their music and musicianship have never been more lauded and relevant to the contemporary jazz landscape. They continue to enthrall diehard fans while thrilling new listeners and younger jazz audiences.
